Under new management, Garden Village is currently looking for a caring, dedicated RN or LPN to fill an immediate opening for Resident Care Manager. From new grads to experienced nurses, we invite you apply today!

Candidates for this position should be looking for a challenging, fun, and energetic environment. They should be able to think critically on their feet and prioritize residents' safety and care needs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the assigned unit.
  • Ensures compliance with current applicable federal, state, local regulations, and facility policies and procedures.
  • Reviews complaints and grievances made or filed by staff. Makes appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing as required or as necessary.
  • Ensures an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, equipment, etc., is readily available to the unit at all times to adequately meet the needs of the resident and notifies appropriate personnel of needs.
  • Assists in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident.
  • Performs treatments that are beyond scope of a MAC or treatment aide.
  • Encourages staff to attend and participate in training programs and schedules times as appropriate.

Requirements

Current Washington State RN or LPN License required

Preferred: Current CPR, Mental Health Certificate and Dementia Certificate
