Overview

Functional Medicine Physician $250 / hr (40% Remote) Costa Mesa, CA

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Functional Medicine Physician to join their team. You will provide direct patient care, discuss patient symptoms and concerns, and performthorough examinations to diagnose medical problems and prescribe medication or create a treatment plan as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive exams and follow-up
• Assist in the development, promotion and delivery of brain health
• Order and administer tests including bloodwork
• Utilize nutraceutical, pharmacological, neurophysiological, and behavioral approaches in the treatment of patients and families
• Management of patient caseload: completing timely reports, maintaining charts, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring the privacy and proper handling of patient information in accordance with State and Federal regulation
• Remain current with functional medicine, brain imaging, psychiatric, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical developments
• Assess potential causes and effects of toxic, metabolic, infectious, inflammatory, hormonal and other factors
• Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

• $250 / hour
• Full support staff
• 3 days onsite in Costa Mesa, and 2 days remote

Requirements

• BC in Functional Medicine or Primary Care
• Current California license or willing to obtain
• MASC102
• Functional Medicine Physician, Physician
