We work collaboratively with our partners across the campus and the LSU System to ensure that messaging and branding is consistent, targeted, and accurate. Our goal is to provide the communication strategies and services to support and advance all of LSUs campuses and heighten LSUs national and international standing. As such, we are a very active outbound research call center. As an entry-level Website Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and websites in the universitys content management. You will work closely with our design and development teams to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience.Job Responsibilities:50%: Website Development: Build and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies. Collaboration: Work with designers, project managers, and other developers to bring web projects to life. Testing and Debugging: Test websites and web applications to identify and fix any issues.50%: Optimization: Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability. Maintenance: Regularly update websites to ensure security, performance, and compatibility. Learning and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies. Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, web development, or a related field.LSU values skills, experience, and expertise.
