Lead Inventory Control Analyst Location: Washington, DC; Clearance: Secret.
Responsibilities
Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets
Mathematical and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ordering inventory from suppliers, main warehouse and securing shipment arrival times
Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products
Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the companys standards
Updating inventory counts and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders
Reporting discrepancies in inventory from last count
Implementing loss prevention
Daily, weekly and monthly inventories
Researching the accuracy of product details and testing new products
Must be able to lift 50 lb
Work with management to identify areas of improvement in storage and ordering practices
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and people
Required to stand on your feet for extended periods of time with walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, crouching, bending, reaching above the shoulders, twisting, crawling, and kneeling as needed
Physical environment includes noise, heat, cold, and lint dust
Additional Requirements
Bachelors degree and minimum of 5 years of inventory management experience
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Ability to obtain security clearance
