The Assistant/ Associate/ Professor provides support to the department of Family Medicine and is accountable for teaching, service and scholarly activity objectives of the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM). This position reports directly to the Chair of Family Medicine & OPP. Essential Job Functions: - Meeting all classes as scheduled - Assisting in the recruitment and registration of students - Reporting final grades at the designated time - Advising students - Attending student orientation and commencement exercises - Having an appropriate number of office hours - Writing course syllabi - Developing course materials - Administering exams - Performing committee assignments - Engaging in scholarly activity - Maintaining professional development - Performing community service - Maintaining licensure and certification as appropriate - May be required to maintain clinical practice as appropriate - Understands accreditation standards and expectations specific to the department and adhe...Medicine, Family, Professor, Associate, Assistant, Healthcare, Education, Skills
