About the Role

This position leads strategic, cross?departmental initiatives that improve processes, streamline operations, and enhance alignment between district systems and the Boards long?term student outcome goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead districtwide strategic improvement projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with Board goals, district guardrails, and state/federal requirements.
  • Design and facilitate processes to identify as?is conditions, determine to?be goals, and define the steps required for transformation.
  • Build strong partnerships with departments and schools to ensure improvements are both operationally efficient and student?centered.
  • Use advanced data analytics to uncover trends, monitor progress, and identify root causes of system challenges.
  • Guide SPS through accreditation cycles, ensuring processes are aligned to Board?adopted outcomes and produce measurable benefits for students.
  • Create clear, accessible presentations and reports for senior leadership, the School Board, and community stakeholders that connect system changes to student outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) or more years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution; demonstrated experience in a lead capacity.
  • Experience working in a K?12 education environment preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in mathematics, computer science, business administration or related field; or completion of equivalent training.
  • PMP or other project management certification required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint.
