Monday-Thursday work week! Job Details Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team. The Flagger will play a crucial role in maintaining safe traffic flow around construction sites and utility locations. This position requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the safety of both workers and the public. Duties Direct traffic around construction sites using appropriate hand signals and signage to ensure safety. Monitor and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in work zones. Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate safe operations while utility locating or performing heavy equipment operations. Assist in setting up and taking down traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barriers. Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors immediately. Maintain clear communication with team members and other flaggers to ensure cohesive operations. Stay alert and vigilant at all times to respond quickly to any changes in traffic patterns or emergencies. Qualifications Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required. A valid driver's license required.
